Africa, the continent where the cradle of our existence lies. Africa, the continent where we Westerners love to go on safari. Africa, the continent where many raw materials come from. Think of cocoa, coffee, cotton, copper, diamonds and gold. But unfortunately, Africa is also the continent of poverty, hunger, war and exploitation. The traces of this are still visible everywhere.

Ellen has spent a lot of time in Kenya during her life. The country has had a big impact on her as a person. Much of the wisdom she still applies every day comes from this special continent. She has therefore decided to donate part of the proceeds from her book to a foundation that will contribute to better living conditions in this continent that means so much to her.
